Well if this isn't the epitome of romcoms (and not in a good way), I don't know what is. Garry Marshall, director of the ill-fated Valentine's Day, returns with a sequel of sorts to that holiday-themed ensemble comedy with New Year's Eve.

Jessica Biel and Ashton Kutcher jump back on board the project, and pretty much the rest of Hollywood--or anyone who has ever been in a romantic comedy round out the cast, including Sarah Jessica Parker, Katherine Heigl,Robert DeNiro, Michelle Pfieffer, Sofia Vergara and Hilary Swank.Looks like a romantic comedy on steroids. What a hodgepodge of mediocre to great talent here.
