AR Rahman has outdone himself as far as his Sufi outings are concerned. After the Maula and Khwaja mere khwaja songs, this song is Rahman’s latest dedication to the Creator. Director Imtiaz Ali has done justice to the song with his realistic representation of the entire situation. Ranbir Kapoor seems to be in the skin of the character or maybe it is the magic of the song; remember Hrithik Roshan spinning around like a dervish in the Khwaja mere khwaja song in Jodhaa Akbar? Rockstar Ranbir Kapoor is all praise for his Hot co-star Nargis Fakhri
Bollywood hearthrob Ranbir Kapoor can’t stop praising his co-star and debutante Nargis Fakhri – he says her presence is a boon to his forthcoming movie Rockstar and hopes that the audiences would be “kind to her” when they see her on screen.
“Nargis is an amazing actor. She is a big boon to our film. We are lucky to have her on board our film,” said Ranbir, who was looking like a rockstar in a pair of jeans, green kurta and a jacket. “I pray that audiences accept Nargis as this is her first film. I request everyone to be kind to her. It feels really nice to know that people are liking our chemistry on screen.”
Rockstar, slated for a November 11 release, is about a young successful musician and his tryst with love. While Ranbir plays the protagonist, Nargis, who is a half Czech-half Pakistani model, plays his love interest.
Ranbir visited the Centrestage mall in Noida to unveil the poster of his film Rockstar and, as expected, the shopping arena swarmed with people cheering and hooting for the Kapoor scion. The actor, who visited the Hazrat Nizamuddin dargah Monday with director Imtiaz Ali, described it as a spiritual experience. “It was a very spiritual experience. I think we are lucky enough that Nizamuddin dargah gave us the opportunity to sing with the qawwals and sing the song with them at the dargah itself,” said Ranbir.

Nargis Fakhri is an American model and actress. Fakhri was born in Queens, New York. She is half Pakistani and half Czech by ethnic origin.
